I don't really know what your question is, and it's not necessarily rude; I just don't know who you are/where you came from.
I assume you are asking why people buy or sell URLs? Personally, I don't like to trade, because I only have URLs I actually like, so I do not really want to give them up. Instead, I just like to add on to my collection. I have a lot of extra income, so spending money on this stuff doesn't bother me. Some people argue that they're just subdomain URLs, and therefore aren't worth anything, but it's subjective. I don't really care what people think of my habits.
If you're asking why I sell/buy my URLs for so much, I only have a set price for the URLs I paid for to obtain them, or I've been previously offered on before. I never really set a price on a URL that I didn't buy (like if I got it from reclaiming), or if nobody has offered on it yet. If someone asks to buy it and I don't have a price, I just ask how much they're willing to pay for it. It's all subjective, again. I don't automatically put it high, unless I know it's worth something.
Some URLs are really valuable (meaning a lot of people want it), so they cost more, since the owner probably knows they can get a lot for it. That, or personal attachment, which is the more annoying version, because a lot of people overprice their URLs when they aren't actually worth that much
TL;DR People like to buy URLs because they are greedy. I buy a lot of URLs, so if you want to re-buy them off of me, it'd have to be for $10-$50 more than what I bought them for, so that I'm not losing money
